The European Origin

In the 19th century, in Calabria, Italy, the Ceravolo family, engaged in the planting and distilling industry, began to make a name for themselves locally. Matteo, the family distiller, studied under the guidance of many European and Scottish whiskey distillers. He combined the family's high-quality malt and other raw materials with traditional distillation techniques to create the family's first batch of whiskey.

A Brand New Start

In 1950, the Ceravolo family crossed the ocean and migrated to the beautiful Adelaide Hills to start a new life. The family's traditional planting and distilling industries continue to be passed down in Australia through the efforts of Antonio and his brothers. Thanks to the unique climate conditions of the Adelaide Hills and the hard work of the family, the Ceravolos quickly became one of the largest local fruit suppliers. At the same time, through the devout inheritance and continuous improvement of traditional craftsmanship, the family continues to produce high-quality wine, whiskey, and other spirits.

The Vintage Valley

Entering the new millennium, with great respect for the centuries-old distilling technology inherited by our ancestors and the lofty ambition to carry it forward and pass it on from generation to generation, Michel, a descendant of the Ceravolo family, founded the family's own spirits brand, "Vintage Valley", in Ashton in the Adelaide Hills. Using high-quality Australian malt and inheriting ancient European spirits distilling techniques, the Vintage Valley Whisky has become a rising star in the Australian spirits industry with its unique flavor.

About Vintage Valley Whisky

Distilled with Spirits

Vintage Valley Single Malt Whisky is based on the traditional European whiskey distilling process and incorporates a very modern design to become a unique bottle of spirits. It is distilled entirely from barley, and the carefully designed secondary distilling process increases the alcohol content and injects a richer flavor into the spirits. Aging in French and American oak barrels allows the spirits to absorb the aroma and character of the barrels, giving it a more complex layer.

Tasting Notes

Distilled with Spirits.

Nose

The first thing that catches the eye is its deep and vibrant color, which symbols the accumulation of time. When you first smell, the aroma of baking is intertwined with the sweetness of dried fruits, accompanied by a light vanilla aroma, which seems to exude an attractive fragrance in the breeze, making it irresistible not to taste.

Taste

After entering the mouth, the taste is soft and rich, as light as silk dancing on the tip of the tongue. The toasted flavor in the wine is intertwined with the warmth of vanilla, as if with a hint of syrupy sweetness, slowly unfolding the flavor of dried fruits. The fresh flavor of melon gradually emerges, adding a refreshing touch to the overall taste experience.

Finish

The finish of the spirits bloom slowly in the mouth, long and lasting. This rich flavor leaves a deep imprint on the tongue and seems to resonate with the drinker's soul. Every drop of wine carries traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation, as if telling its own unique story in every moment.
